Modern Ornament GENEROUS

Being GENEROUS translates into an action that makes an impact.  Whether you are being generous with your time, your money or your emotions, GENEROSITY is something that has the ability to impact people in a positive way.  It’s an action done with someone in mind, it extends beyond our normal routines and transforms something for someone to a better state.

As we head into the Holiday Season, we want to do so by being intentionally GENEROUS through our actions.  That’s why we’ve partnered with My Neighbor PR and will be donating 20% of all our Made in Puerto Rico artprint sales to the organization, along with the full price of all sales of our Leaf Plates.  Through this effort, we will be helping My Neighbor PR build roofs for our neighbors in Puerto Rico.  It's been over a year since Hurricane Maria devastated the Island of Puerto Rico and thousands of families still have blue tarps over their homes instead of secure roofs.  As of September 2018, there are still some 45,000 homes with so-called “blue roofs,” or tarps installed by the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA).

About My Neighbor PR:
My Neighbor PR has partnered with groups on the mainland and in Puerto Rico to make this kind of gift possible. Their partners provide man power, administration, and building services while the monetary gifts we can each contribute provides the building materials.  With every $400, My Neighbor PR can give the gift of a roof to one family in need.  To learn more about My Neighbor PR please visit:  www.myneighborpr.org
