About the Artist:

• Saara Soderlund has been drawing and painting her whole life, though she had no idea it would someday become her career. Saara paints her illustrations mainly with gouache, sometimes mixing colored pencil or digital tools into the process. Her paintings are rich in detail and often focus on her love of nature and themes of cherishing the nature around us. Saara also finds inspiration from the everyday and very ordinary moments that seem insignificant but are somehow unintentionally precious.
